Baby Affan was born in Pitas, Sabah, Malaysia. From the moment he arrived, his gentle smile brought light into our lives. Even as a newborn, he was a quiet, peaceful soul, finding comfort in our arms. We dreamed of watching him grow strong, play with friends, and explore the world with curiosity.

But our world changed within days of his birth. Affan struggled to breathe and was rushed to the NICU. Doctors diagnosed him with Tracheal Stenosis — a severe narrowing of his windpipe that makes every breath a battle. As if that wasn’t enough, he was also born with Omphalocoele (a defect in his abdominal wall) and Meckel’s Diverticulum perforation (a dangerous intestinal complication), both of which required immediate surgeries to save his life.
