45-year-old Tan Chee Meng was diagnosed with diabetes about 10 years. His condition has recently worsened, leading to kidney failure and the need for regular dialysis.<\/p>

CCEP hopes to raise RM30,000 to help cover Tan\u2019s dialysis transportation and basic living expenses for one year.<\/p>

He started dialysis in early August and requires treatment three times a week. However, due to financial difficulties, he once went almost 10 days without dialysis. His condition deteriorated, causing swelling, weakness, breathlessness, and severe fatigue.<\/p>

Tan previously worked in kitchen cabinet sales but had to stop due to his health. He has been unemployed since 1 January 2026. His savings have now almost run out, with only about RM200 left, while he still needs to pay for dialysis, accommodation, and basic living expenses.<\/p>

He also recently lost his accommodation and had nowhere to stay. For six days, he had to sleep in his car before temporarily staying at a budget hotel.<\/p>

Tan is an only child. His 71-year-old father lives alone in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, and is unable to support his medical and living expenses.<\/p>

CCEP Foundation CEO Yvonne Yee said CCEP has temporarily stepped in to help with his dialysis and accommodation.<\/p>

CCEP is currently sponsoring one month of dialysis treatment so that Tan can resume regular treatment while waiting for his SOCSO assistance application to be approved.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
